Richard Jones is the Chief Executive Officer of Glassbeam

Mr. Jones joins Glassbeam having formerly served as President of Radiology at Akumin, Inc., a comprehensive provider of diagnostic imaging and oncology solutions.  Prior to Akumin, Mr. Jones served for over a decade as President of Alliance Radiology, the second largest advanced imaging provider in the U.S. and largest division of Alliance HealthCare Services.  Mr. Jones also served on the Board of Directors for the Association for Quality Imaging during his tenure as President of Radiology at Alliance.  Mr. Jones brings over 35 years of in-depth experience in hospital and outpatient imaging, having led operations which supported over 1,000 hospitals, health care systems and providers across the U.S each year.

Ashok Agarwal is Glassbeam’s Vice President of Engineering.

Ashok has 30 years of technology executive experience and strong credentials as a Cloud-based technologist and an Open Source evangelist with deep experience in delivering large scale enterprise solutions. Ashok is proficient in Big Data analytics, social media engineering, search algorithms, and databases in an Agile development environment.

Ashok leads Glassbeam’s engineering team. He oversees the team’s mandate to deliver Machine Data analytics solutions, including predictive analytics for medical devices using Machine Learning technology. He is responsible for Glassbeam’s SaaS platform architecture, technology, and service operations as well as technical liaisons with Glassbeam’s customers and partners for technology integration initiatives.

Earlier in his career, Ashok has held various technical management positions with startups including Chief Technology Officer at Livedeal, Vice President of Engineering at Medialive/Earthlink, and Vice President of Professional Services at Silverline Technologies. Ashok began his career with Tata Consultancy Services where he reached technical leadership positions.

Outside work, Ashok is passionate about promoting the Indo-American community in the mainstream. He holds leadership positions with organizations and forums voicing the commercial and professional interests of the community and showcasing Indian values and culture through community service and charity initiatives. He also likes to travel.

Ashok holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee.

Jay Soni is Glassbeam’s Chief Financial Officer.

Jay brings 20 years of healthcare IT domain experience as a financial leader.  Prior to joining Glassbeam, he was the CFO at Lumedx Corporation, a healthcare IT/SaaS company pioneering in cardiovascular information systems serving over 650 health institutions.

At Lumedx,  Jay led all finance, HR, and IT functions, supporting the growth of the business until it was acquired by Intelerad Medical Systems. Previously, Jay started his career in audit at PWC and subsequently worked for large public and venture backed startup companies in senior finance roles.

Jay earned his CPA credentials while working at PWC and has an MBA degree from Long Island University.

At Glassbeam, Jay will be responsible for leading its Finance and HR functions while providing operational support to all areas of the business as it grows as a premier machine analytics company.

Pramod Sridharamurthy is Vice President of Products and India Operations at Glassbeam.

Pramod has over 18 years of leadership experience focused around people, process, and products in startups and growth stage companies in the big data analytics, connected machines, and storage systems space. A startup guy at heart, he enjoys solving problems at scale and is passionate about connected machines and the opportunities it holds for Glassbeam’s customers and their communities.

Pramod oversees Glassbeam’s India operations and products. As the head of India operations, he is chartered to build and scale a high performance team and to help the organization and teams achieve their maximum potential. As the head of products, he is conceiving, driving, and shaping the future of how Glassbeam’s customers maximize the value of data from connected machines. He also provides leadership and coordination in developing relationships with partners and customers in India.

Most recently, Pramod led the Consulting and Practices group at Orchesys where he successfully built the storage practice delivery business and helped transform the data center infrastructures of large enterprise customers. He has also played instrumental roles at Apara and Wipro across multiple areas like Consulting, Practice development, Pre-sales, and Performance Engineering.

Beyond work, Pramod is passionately driving a large-scale project, through India Literacy Project, a non-profit, to make quality education accessible to public schools in India through the use of technology, experiential learning, community involvement, and by elevating instructional excellence.

Pramod holds a Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Technology from Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering, Mysore.

Dave Ysseldyke is Glassbeam’s VP of Marketing and Product Management.

Dave brings over 30 years of experience in marketing, sales, and product development. After a long career with GE Healthcare in a variety of leadership roles, Dave joined ACCUMEN Inc., and later Agiliti, continuing his focus on advancing technology in Medical Imaging. At Glassbeam, Dave is responsible for understanding customer and industry needs, developing the solution roadmap and elevating market awareness.

Dave earned his B.S. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, respectively. He is a certified Master Blackbelt and holds a patent on Radiation Dose Reporting.

Dave lives in Delafield, Wisconsin with his wife Maria.  He enjoys being outdoors, traveling and spending time with his two daughters, son-in-law and granddaughter.

Vivek Sundaram is Glassbeam’s VP of Technical Services.

Vivek has over 10 years of experience leading teams in building cloud-based analytics platforms and solutions for Industrial IoT products. From simple thermostats to complex MRI machines, Vivek commands the industrial knowledge to tailor a comprehensive solution that meets the needs of Glassbeam’s customers and partners.

Vivek is responsible for working with all Glassbeam customers to understand their business needs, and develop all aspects of the design and delivery of end-to-end solutions. He leads the technical presales and solution engineering teams to ensure the delivery aligns with the customer’s expectations. He is also leading the charge on Glassbeam’s solution roadmap for the Healthcare provider market.

Prior to Glassbeam, under Vivek’s leadership as the Research and Development head at Pacific Control Systems, Dubai, he designed and deployed real-time fire, life, and safety monitoring systems using state-of-the art M2M and smart system solutions covering the entire Dubai city.

During his spare time, Vivek tries to satisfy his voracious appetite for art and adventure. He is training to be a pilot spurred by his ambition to become a flight instructor. While on the ground, he is a patron of the local artists and plays in the billiards national league (amateur). He is also an avid indoor rock climber with his sights set on a dream to scale a real mountain someday.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering from Anna University, India.

Mohammed Guller is Glassbeam’s VP of Machine Learning.

Mohammed has over 24 years of experience working in the hi-tech industry in a variety of technical and management roles. His areas of expertise include machine learning, big data, and new product development. He is passionate about applying machine learning to solve business problems and create value for our customers.

Mohammed leads Glassbeam’s data science and machine learning teams. He is responsible for identifying new ML applications and driving the development of those applications. Mohammed is also a published author and a frequently-invited speaker. His book, “Big Data analytics with Spark”, was among the top 25 selling books on Amazon for a few months after publication. He gets invited to give talks and conduct workshops on Spark and big data technologies at different conferences and universities.

Prior to joining Glassbeam, Mohammed held leadership and management roles at different startups, including TrustRecs, of which he was the founder, and Elron Software, where he rose from an engineer to Director of Engineering. Mohammed also has business leadership experience managing key SMB accounts in the San Francisco Bay area for IBM.

Outside work, Mohammed enjoys spending time with his kids and learning new technologies. He loves traveling, skiing, ice-skating, and chess.

Mohammed earned an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley. He also has Master’s degree in Computers from Gujarat University and Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Mumbai.  He ranked #1 in his college and #3 in the University of Mumbai amongst 8,397 students from different colleges.

Dr. Kumar Malavalli is a successful serial entrepreneur in Silicon Valley, USA.

Kumar co-founded Brocade Communications and served as its CTO. He was instrumental in a phenomenally successful IPO of Brocade in 1999. He is the co-author and driving force behind Fibre Channel, an evolutionary and disruptive technology, behind the creation of Brocade and that enabled the development of a multi-billion-dollar industry based on storage area networks (SAN’s). Kumar holds several patents in Fibre Channel technology.

Subsequent to  Brocade, he co-founded, InMage Systems, providing solutions for data/applications migration to data centers and Cloud. He served as InMage’s CEO and Chairman and led the company to a successful exit through acquisition by Microsoft.

In 2003, Kumar was inducted into the Silicon Valley Engineering Hall of Fame. Kumar received the Gene Milligan Award for Effective Committee Management from the International Committee for Information Technology Standards (INCITS) for chairing the INCITS committee that developed seventeen standards in Storage Area Networks. Kumar was awarded Honorary Doctorate-of-Science at California State University, East Bay.

Rhonda Longmore-Grund is an international, results-oriented “C” level executive with deep strategic, operational and financial leadership experience across a variety of company profiles ranging from public fortune 100 to private, mid cap, PE and venture funded startups.

As a former CEO as well as CFO with deep capital markets experience, she brings experience building high performing mission-oriented leadership teams that have successfully delivered sustainable growth and shareholder value.

Ms. Longmore-Grund served as President, Chief Executive Officer and Director of Alliance HealthCare Services from 2018 to 2021.

When Alliance was acquired in 2021 by Akumin Inc., Ms. Longmore-Grund served as President, Co-CEO and Director of the newly merged Akumin/Alliance company to facilitate a smooth transition through mid-2022.

Eric Milledge is Chairman of the Board of Directors at Glassbeam.

Eric is the Chairman of Symetis S.A. where he assists with an innovative and minimally invasive heart valve replacement device which uses transapical and transfemoral delivery systems. Prior to this, he spent 37 years in the pharmaceuticals and medical devices industry with Johnson & Johnson and private medical device startup companies. He spent eight years as the President of Johnson & Johnson and nine years as the Group Chairman.

Eric was honored by the Women’s Counseling Center in 1998 and the Women’s Resource Center in 1994. He was the recipient of the 1994 Man of the Year award from the Epilepsy Foundation. In 1999 he was honored as Humanitarian of the Year by the Martin House for Justice Foundation. In 2002 he was honored as “Father of the Year” by the American Diabetes Association.

Brenda H. Christensen is a market development, products, sales and management executive with a broad background in both traditional technology companies and companies who are opening up new markets, applications and corporate formations.

She and Kumar Malavalli lead the development of the Brocade brand (Fibre Channel networking switches) and was one of the global leaders in the identification and launch of the storage networking industry.

Brenda has extensive knowledge and experience in non-profit, educational and global entrepreneurial company boards and consulting engagements. She is presently a Trustee at Seattle University and is also the author of “The $8 Man, From India to North America, Immigrants who came with nothing and changed everything”.

Brenda joins the Glassbeam board after a long tenure as a consultant and investor to the company.

Paul has over 20 years in executive management, start-up funding, consulting, and investment banking, at Raymond James, Price Waterhouse, and EQV Partners.

Paul’s expertise includes Venture Capital and Corporate Development SVP and Principal at XBTO Group. He has a rich history that includes over 50 M&A deals.

He is a graduate of the University of Florida. He is an avid skier, musician and yogi.

Richard Pines joined Glassbeam Inc. as a Member of the Board of Directors in October 2021.

Mr. Pines founded Structured Alpha Solutions in 2019 to help innovative private and public healthcare companies accelerate the growth of their businesses and achieve their financial and operational objectives.

Previously, in 2008 Richard Pines was a founding partner of Athyrium Capital Management, a fund with ~$3.7B of AUM focused on structured investments in the global healthcare sector, and served as an Investment Partner and member of the fund’s investment committee. During this time, he served on multiple company boards and as a strategic advisor.

Before Athyrium, Mr. Pines worked at Barclays Capital and Lehman Brothers as part of Global Trading Strategies, a proprietary investment strategy with a focus on healthcare. Mr. Pines began his career as an Analyst in Credit Suisse’s Investment Banking Division focused on healthcare clients. He graduated with a B.S. in both Accounting and Finance from Indiana University.

Bradd Busick is the SVP and CIO of MultiCare Health System.

Previously as the CTO of MultiCare Health System, Bradd was responsible for technology development systems, processes, overall software and solution design at the company. Bradd has also held high-profile roles at MacDonald-Miller and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, among others.

A Business Transformation 150 award winner and TED Speaker, he earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and business administration from Pacific Lutheran University. Bradd also earned his MBA in technology and Innovation Management from Pacific Lutheran University.

Mr. Sams is currently the President and CEO of Health Outlook Corp., a biotech company focused on modern proteomics to better predict health events and improve outcomes using proprietary algorithms.

He joined Health Outlook in January 2022 after 22 years at Siemens Healthineers, Roche Diagnostics & Boston Scientific, where he held global senior leadership roles across the spectrum of commercial execution, including product development, marketing, sales, strategy, business development, finance, market access. His teams served hospital systems, physician groups, patients, biopharma, retail pharmacies and payors in the areas of, cardiology, molecular, pathology, oncology, diabetes & infectious disease.

Howard has an MBA from the University of Notre Dame and BS in Finance from Butler University.

Dr. Peter Fitzgerald is the Director of the Center for Cardiovascular Technology and Director of the Cardiovascular Core Analysis Laboratory (CCAL) at Stanford University Medical School.

He is an Interventional Cardiologist and has a PhD in Engineering. He is Professor in both the Departments of Medicine and Engineering (by courtesy) at Stanford. Presently, Dr. Fitzgerald’s laboratory includes 17 postdoctoral fellows and graduate engineering students focusing on state-of-the-art technologies in Cardiovascular Medicine. He has led or participated in over 175 clinical trials, published over 550 manuscripts/chapters, and lectures worldwide. He has trained over 150 post-docs in Engineering and Medicine in the past decade. In addition, he heads the Stanford/Asia MedTech innovation program.

Dr. Fitzgerald has been principle/founder of twenty-one medical device companies in the San Francisco Bay Area. He has transitioned fourteen of these start-ups to large medical device companies. He serves on several boards of directors, advised dozens of medical device startups as well as multinational healthcare companies in the design and development of new diagnostic and therapeutic devices in the cardiovascular arena. In 2001, Peter was on the founding team of LVP Capital, a venture firm, focused on medical device and biotechnology start-ups in San Francisco. In 2009, he co-founded TriVentures, which is an incubator/venture fund for early stage medical technology in Israel.

Dr Miral Jhaveri, MD, MBA, is an associate professor in the Department of Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine at Rush University Medical Center.

He is head of the Division of Neuroradiology as well as an executive vice-chair in the department of Diagnostic Radiology with deep interest in Radiology Informatics. He has been an editor and contributing author for a number of Neuroradiology text-books.

Dr Jhaveri received M.B.B.S. and M.D. degrees from Bombay University and then completed a 2 year fellowship in Neuroradiology at Rush. He has been in practice for more than 20 years and is Board certified in Diagnostic Radiology and Neuroradiology.

Rob brings over 20 years of healthcare sales and leadership experience, working for Fortune 50 companies, Independent Service organizations, startups, and as an independent consultant prior to joining Glassbeam.

During a 13-year career with GE Healthcare, he assumed sales leadership roles in both Service, Capital equipment, and Consulting verticals. Rob concluded his GE career as a Strategic IDN Director, managing GE’s largest IDN client within the Midwest division. In addition to GE, Rob has worked in sales/consulting roles for Agiliti, Trimedx, and as a consultant to the Gerson Lehrman Group advising OEMs on product and service strategies.

While a Wisconsin native, Rob resides in Kansas City, Missouri. Rob holds dual citizenship in both the US and Ireland.

Rob earned a Bachelor of Science degree in both Economics and Finance from the University of Wisconsin, Whitewater.

Garth brings 20+ years of clinical healthcare, finance and enterprise sales experience.

He has spent the last 15 years as a leader of strategic sales campaigns within large academic IDNs, government sectors and group purchasing organizations within the eastern region. Garth and his family have lived in the Philadelphia area for 20+ years and continue to support their community’s youth sports organizations. Garth also proudly served as a member of the United States Coast Guard.

Roshan brings over 20 years of business development experience to Glassbeam where he will be heading Glassbeam’s Global Business development function from Bangalore office.

Roshan is a business executive/serial entrepreneur with a history of success in developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies to deliver profitable revenue growth. With more than two decades of working with corporate sector and entrepreneurial ventures he has created and implemented marketing and sales programs for big data, cloud computing, cyber security, storage networking, and software companies. Prior to joining Glassbeam he was a business consultant for startups and mid-size companies to enable them to increase revenue and profitability. Roshan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bangalore University.

When he is not working Roshan loves to spend time with his family and friends. He is a passionate golfer and you will find him in the golf course during the weekends.
